Volunteer
Work
in House with the Executive Director, House Manager, and/or Weekend
Managers: Some training required.
Duties
include:
Checking families in & out
Special meals
Light housekeeping
Running errands
Assisting with mailings
Answering phone
Data entry
House tours

Special
Project Volunteer
Work
with Executive Director, House Manager, and/or Weekend Managers
to complete a specific task.
Yard
Project: Plant, mow, rake, clean flower beds
Mending Project: Mend all torn sheets, towels, etc.
Spring Cleaning: Deep clean specific areas of the house
Maintenance: Repair items when needed
Entertainment: Provide music, story tell to children,
use your talents
Speakers Bureau: Present RMH programs to service organizations,
businesses, etc.

Fundraising
Volunteers work to raise money for the House operations and to promote
the goal of providing comfort and care to children and families.
House
Dinner Volunteer
Work
with the House Manager to provide meals for our families.
House dinners are scheduled throughout the week with food provided
and prepared by volunteers for House guests.
Relief
Manager
Work
weekends, holidays, or overnight to provide guest services; i.e.
checking guests in or out and maintain the facility during house
manager off hours.
